Sausage Balls Recipe

Sausage Balls are a great snack and a staple, at least for me, in party planning. Found a quick 3-ingredient recipe that I like and wanted to post it here.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb sausage – breakfast sausage in the tube works best, heat level according to your taste
  • 8 oz cheddar cheese shredded – I use the pre-shredded stuff… but fresh shredded is better
  • 1 cup Bisquick baking mix

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  2. Line baking sheet with parchment paper – makes cleanup so much easier
  3. In large bowl, mix sausage, cheese, and bisquick. Mix by hand, making sure to incorporate everything together.
  4. Scoop mixture into 1 tablespoon balls, placing on prepared baking sheet
  5. Bake 12-15 minutes, or until brown
  6. Remove from oven, let cool for a few minutes and enjoy

Serve with Mustard or Warmed Maple Syrup.

My experience is that these measurements and size yield about 30 sausage balls.

This was taken from Belle of the Kitchen, but I get tired of scrolling through all the usual crap to see the recipe.
